Worship Ministry

Music and Worship Ministry is a vital aspect of the overall worship experience at our church, both for those who participate, and for those who appreciate. The purpose of the Worship Ministries at First Free Will Baptist Church is to provide an environment and atmosphere in which each one in attendance can experience a time of communion with our heavenly Father. We seek to offer worship that is celebrative and reflective, and that will engage both the heart and the mind.

When people think of worship, the thing that comes to mind most often is the music ministry. Although music plays a major part in our worship, it is only one facet of the overall worship experience. Our ministry involves numerous people that are dedicated to serving the Lord with their musical abilities. However, there are other opportunities that allow people to serve in areas that do not demand musical ability.

Our goal is "Spirit-empowered excellence." We desire all that we offer to be the "best of our ability," but realize that excellent performance must be accompanied by the anointing of the Holy Spirit in order to worship in "spirit and in truth."

Whether you sing, play an instrument, have technical skills, or simply love to greet people and make them feel at home, we have opportunities for service in which you can put your ability to work for the Lord.
