First Youth have been, and are, all over the place. Here in the good old USA, we have been seen serving in: Chicago, Houston, Kansas City, St. Louis, Detroit, Salt Lake City, Washington, D.C., and right here at home. Throw in North American locations like Toronto, Canada, and Reynosa, Mexico, and we have been on the international scene. Even then, we have served in France, Spain, Honduras, and Uruguay. This summer we are going to the home of the cheesesteak, Philadelphia.
Our youth group graduates are serving the Kingdom on the road as musicians, and in China teaching English. Others have stayed right here in the River Valley, and are integral in the life of our church.
One thing they have learned from all of these trips: It is not about me.
Once you get that down, and remind yourself everyday that it is not about ourselves, but about Christ and others, then life changes incredibly.
