At First Free Will Baptist Church, we are thankful to have a church family of friends. If you consider yourselves a Senior (even if you don't), you'll feel right at home with the Senior Adults of First Free Will Baptist Church. Some of our members have been here 60 years, others only a few months. Every is welcome. Everyone fits in. We call ourselves by the name OASIS. It is an acronym for Older Adults Still In Service. The best way to connect to the Oasis Ministry is through one of our Sunday Bible Classes. These classes are filled with people who love the Lord and each other. Some classes meet at 8 am, others at 10:30 am each Sunday. Each class has bible studies to encourage and challenge you in your walk with Christ.
Another way to connect is through the weekly Coffee, Cake, and Connect time. These times of food and fellowship are filled with laughter, and inspiration from a story-telling, reminiscing, and scripture.
We also enjoy a monthly luncheon on the third Thursday at 11:00. We have members of Oasis serving in every ministry in our church. We value the experience and depth of a faithful life. We try to couple experience with enthusiasm as often as we can.
Finally, and most importantly, there are opportunities all year long to minister and work in the body of Christ at First Church! We value you and we need you.
